The Model J-4000W Commercial wig steamer by Jiffy is a heavy-duty steamer packed with 1500 watts of steaming power. It features a 1-gallon self-contained water tank with preheat and steam settings, along with a 7 1/2 foot flexible hose that has a curved metal pipe head and a wooden handle at the end, making it perfect for steaming wigs and hairpieces. On the side of the steamer, there is a sight gauge to easily check the water level and sediment build-up.

The J-4000W heats up in just 15 minutes to the preheat temperature, and once at that temperature, it produces steam within 2 minutes. Before shipping, Jiffy Steamer conducts 5 different tests on each unit, including 4 unique electrical tests and an actual steam test. Each steamer operates on the assembly line for several minutes to ensure proper functioning. It is normal to find traces of water in the bottom of the steamer, signifying a quality test and demonstrating confidence in the unit's dependability.

Please note, Jiffy has updated the steam wand on their wig steamers to a 9" angled tube with a brass coupling.
